Sinusitis is a common condition in which the cavities around nasal passages (sinuses) become inflamed and swollen for at least 12 weeks, despite treatment attempts.
Bronchitis is an inflammation of the lining of your bronchial tubes, which carry air to and from your lungs. People who have bronchitis often cough up thickened mucus, which can be discolored. Bronchitis may be either acute or chronic.
Often developing from a cold or other respiratory infection, acute bronchitis and/or sinusitis is very common.
We offer Testing & Treatment for Sinusitis and Bronchitis:
Cultures are done from the nasal passageways & sinuses and if positive will provide exact identification of the virus and/or bacteria. Testing is available for these pathogens below. You will be provided a full report about your results 3-5 days after performing the culture. Digital Video Laryngoscopy is often used to pinpoint the areas of your sinus and nasal cavity where the infection may be ongoing.
