Dr. Varghese attended the Allergy & Immunology fellowship program at the University of South Florida after completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and completing internship at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Varghese is a native of New Jersey, attending high school in Bergenfield & returning after completing his training. Growing up with allergies, eczema & severe asthma, he understands how debilitating having asthma & allergies can be. He started Allergy Asthma & Sinus Center with the goal of providing the best allergy & asthma care to the patients of northern New Jersey. It is an honor to serve the thousands of patients and their families who have called him their allergist & asthma doctor for over 10 years. It is his promise to never turn away a patient for any reason, including inability to afford care.
Dr. Varghese sees both adult and pediatric patients for the evaluation, treatment, and management of allergic and non-allergic asthma, nasal and ocular allergies, exercise-induced asthma, sinusitis, food allergies, pet allergies, allergic skin conditions such as contact dermatitis, eczema (atopic dermatitis) and urticaria (hives) /angioedema.
Other areas of focus include stinging insect allergy and medication/drug-induced allergy. He also has an interest in the evaluation of primary deficiencies of the immune system.
Dr. Varghese is conversant in English, Spanish, Tamil, and Malayalam.
